DNOW 2023

February 17th-19th

What is DNOW? It is a three day event where students are placed into like ages and gender groups where they will go through bible studies.  The weekend also has large group worship services. All of this is packed into Friday night through Sunday morning! This year’s event is located at Summit Heights. If you are riding with us to the event, we will meet at the church at 5PM on February 17th. The cost is $60 per student. All money and forms are due by January 18th. You will need to register and fill out the Calvary Medical Release form. All the links that are needed can be found below.

What to pack

  • Registration and Medical Release Form Turned In
  • Sleeping bag or bedroll and pillow
  • Toiletries and towel
  • Bible and journal for notes.
  • Casual clothes, clothes for recreation, sleeping clothes, and clothes for Sunday.
  • Sunday morning (everyone will wear their DNOW T-Shirt that morning.)

Check - In Information

There are two Check In Times due to athletics and other extra activities.

Check In 1: Is at Holly Brook Baptist Church and includes dinner at 6:00pm. If you are leaving with us from the church at 5pm, this is when we will be checking in.

Check In 2:  If you need to show up later then 6:45pm then you will need to Check directly in at Summit Heights and this does not include dinner.

10:00-11:00pm - Small Group in Host Homes 
12:00am - Lights Out
Saturday, February 18th:
8:00am - Rise and Shine/Breakfast at Host Homes
8:30am -Leave for Church
10:00am – Morning Worship @ Summit
10:45am – Amazing Race
12:00pm - Lunch at Holly Brook
12:45pm – Recreation @ Holly Brook
3:30pm – Leave for Host Home
4:30pm - Leave for Summit Heights
5:00pm – Lip Sync at Summit
6:00pm - Dinner @ Summit Heights
7:00pm - Worship
9:00pm - Return to Host Home
10:00pm- Small Group in Host Home
11:30pm - Lights Out


Sunday, February 19th:
7:30am - Rise and Shine/Breakfast at Host Homes
8:00am - Small Group in Host Homes
8:30am- Leave for your Church
9:00am - Worship Service
10:20am - Disciple Now Ends and the Journey Begins!

We are so excited about this DNOW! We believe that students will truly be encouraged and taught how to be disciples of Christ.  Please contact us if you have and questions or concerns.

We have also attached a student packet to be viewed or downloaded for your convenience. NOTE: Please do not register online with the link provided in the packet. We are handling our own registration since we are taking our group together. We do not have access to the information given on their registration.

Are you interested in being a host home?

There are requirements that must be met to be a host home. If you believe you have met those requirements and would like to offer your home, please fill out the form below. Please note, host home selection is up to the discretion of leadership at Calvary. Thank you for being willing to invite our student ministry into your home!

Requirements for Host Homes
  • Clean and safe environment
  • Able to provide two breakfast meals. Expense of meal could possibly be covered if needed.
  • A place for 6-10 students and 2 leaders to sleep (Does not require beds or rooms for everyone. Although, it is ideal for at least one room dedicated for leaders.)
  • If you have anyone living in your home that is the opposite gender that you are hosting, we ask that they not be present for the weekend of February 17th-19th
  • You and anyone that will be present at your home during DNOW must pass a background check and be approved by leadership.
